Who can enter?

To be able to win, you have to be eligible to graduate from the University of Calgary in 2010.   And to be eligible to win each month January through April 2010, you must enter each month.

What can I win?

A whole lot of great prizes including; $1000 cash, Sunshine day passes, a year membership at Campus Rec, DJD tickets,  a new wardrobe from Blu’s or Henry Singer, Inner Balance Spa treatments, dinner at Redwater Rustic Grille, a night at Hotel Arts, Clearsight financial advice, Big Rock Beer and more.  If you win a $1000 cash prize you are ineligible to win any other prizes.

How and when do I find out if I won a prize?

The draws are Friday January 29 2010, Friday, February 26 2010, Friday March 26th 2010, and the final draw Friday, April 30th, 2010.   If you win a prize, we’ll call you by the end of the following Monday.  You have two days to get back to us and if we don’t hear from you, you’ll be disqualified and we’ll pick another winner.

What happens if the University can’t get in touch with me to tell me about my prize?  

If we can’t for whatever reason get in touch with you (you entered the wrong phone number or there was a typo or something) then we will disqualify you and pick another winner.  If we leave a message and we don’t hear back from you within two business days of leaving the message, then you’re disqualified and we pick another winner.

When do I have to use the prize?

The individual gift certificates have various restrictions applied to them.  Read your gift certificate carefully to make sure you use it before it expires.

How hard is the skill testing question I have to answer in order to claim my prize?

Piece of cake.   You won’t need to study at all.  It will be a simple mathematics question.

What are my chances of winning?

Hard to say.  It depends on how many students enter but only students who are eligible to graduate are able to enter.  There are about 6,000 students eligible to graduate in 2010.  Do the math!

How many students will win prizes?

There are more than 30 prizes.  Provided each prize goes to a different student, there will be more than 30 winners.
